I was provided a key to let me into and out of the hotel and in the afternoon the hotel staff brought me a cup of tea.
It would have useful to have a kettle in the room where one could make one's own tea, or hot water, rather than asking for this all the time, especially since there was often no one at the reception.
The room is extremely clean, good value for the money
They charge an extra city tax upon arrival which is not indicated on the website
the location of the hotel is accessible to the city center, shopping places etc..
the room was not enough clean. Carpets looks dirty and toilet was smell bad.
The owner, Wilfred, who also works at the reception, is exceptionally helpful and kind. He is warm, welcoming, and responsive to all questions and concerns. The hotel is accessible to both the Peace Palace and the downtown Centrum areas. The breakfasts, served in the small dinning room, are pretty good. Loved my short stay at the Delta.
Very bad, stairs are very narrow, not clean room, u feel no privacy
The room was very tight, the bathroom was not clean and very small. The bed was 100 or 120cm wide, so nowadays I would not call this a proper double bed! As I was travelling with a friend we were forced to put the mattress on the ground and one of us slept on the ground while the other slept on the base of the bed. After removing the sheet of the bed to put on the base, we found that the matrass cover was disgustingly dirty. Moreover, the room was very noisy. All in all, quite a disaster, for 64 Euro. We realize that this is a low rate, but for 10 Euros more, far better places can be found!!
Proximity to office. Check in after 11pm
White everywhere but not always clean. Price not including breakfast
Nothing special - a (not so cheap) basic hotel.
Bewarned - the hotel has no lift, ok if you have room on ground floor but bad if you on higher floor. The spiral staircase is tight & small so its a struggle to carry bags upstairs.
Very nice localization, kind nice personnel.
Great location. Very friendly and helpful stuff!
Rooms with street view are noisy. Car parking is free only in the night.
The only positive thing I can recall is the location.
This hotel looks like a completely run-down place with only starting renovation. Besides dirt is everywhere, there is not even a closet -except of a cheap old metal frame. Sheets were clean. I moved out after an hour - having found and booked a decent hotel on the internet. I better let my money for 3 nights wasted than spend even one night there. I have never ever seen such a "hotel" in my life. I have no idea what the 3 stars stand for, definitely not for this hotel's quality.
Officially, this was a non-smoker room. It seems this policy is not respected.
Nice location, very hospitable staff and quite well breakfast.
The rooms are quite small and not very clean. I lived alone in the room, announced as twin, but it was smaller than single in many another hotels. And no noise insulation.
It is very central.
It was not for the value of money we paid. It has very poor facilities both inside of the hotel and in the rooms.
This hotel is a joke. First, the facilities and services are closer to a youth hostel than a real hotel : no service at all, no elevator, no one at the door in the evening, no one to carry your luggage, you have to pay the room at the check in (otherwise people would run away when they'd discover the rooms !!!), etc I must say I was very disappointed when I discovered the hotel as the photographs on the web site do not reflect at all the real hotel which need serious refurbishment. The first point to be underlined is they found this great idea to put a metallic circular staircaise very narrow which makes an incredibly loud noise when guests do take it and which is very dangerous (remember you will have to carry your luggage yourself !!! ) Secondly, my room was very dirty (carpet floor with stains) and they have installed these bathroom/toilets/sink all in one which are really disgusting (hello bacterias !!!). All this would be ok if the rooms were around 50€. BUT they were at 90€ !!! I checked other hotels and you could get a Mercure room at 89€. Considering the price, the Delta Hotel is a proper shame.
